Santa Monica Boulevard Crash Sends Car Into Tree At Sierra Bonita

A Santa Monica Boulevard crash at Sierra Bonita happened late Sunday morning, in rainy conditions with wet roads, and left a black sedan up on the curb in front of Prince Men’s Spa at 7542 Santa Monica Blvd.

Witnesses said the car hit a tree and bounced back before coming to rest along the curb line near the corner.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the scene. A gurney was staged on the sidewalk while responders worked nearby.

Santa Monica Boulevard’s westbound lanes were temporarily shut down as crews handled the response and deputies directed traffic around the scene.

Details on injuries were not immediately available. The cause of the crash, and whether any citations were issued, was not yet clear.
