
As WeHo Pride Weekend approaches, the City of West Hollywood is alerting residents and visitors to a range of facility closures, traffic detours, and changes to local transit. The festivities will take place from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, centered around West Hollywood Park and the surrounding Rainbow District.
Facility Closures
Several city facilities will be temporarily closed in the lead-up to and during the weekend’s events:
West Hollywood Park: Closed Monday, May 26 through Wednesday, June 4. Reopens Thursday, June 5.
Small Dog Park: Closed Wednesday, May 28 through Wednesday, June 4.
Large Dog Park: Closed Thursday, May 29 through Wednesday, June 4.
Parking Garages at West Hollywood Park (Five-Story, Library, and Aquatic Center): Closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29 through 10 a.m. Monday, June 2.
Plummer Park South Lot: Closed 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29 through 12 p.m. Monday, June 2.
Robertson Lot: Closed from noon Friday, May 30 through 10 a.m. Monday, June 2.
Crescent Heights Lot: Closed Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1. Reopens Monday, June 2.
Street Closures
Multiple streets throughout West Hollywood will be closed to accommodate festival activities and the WeHo Pride Parade:
San Vicente Blvd (Melrose to Santa Monica): Closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29 to 10 a.m. Monday, June 2.
Santa Monica Blvd (La Cienega to Doheny): Closed from noon Friday, May 30 through 7 a.m. Monday, June 2.
Robertson Blvd (Santa Monica to Melrose): Closed from noon Friday, May 30 through 7 a.m. Monday, June 2.
San Vicente Blvd (Santa Monica to Cynthia): Closed from noon Friday, May 30 through 7 a.m. Monday, June 2.
Santa Monica Blvd (Fairfax to Doheny) and side streets one block north and south: Closed 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1 for the WeHo Pride Parade.
Santa Monica Boulevard between La Cienega and Doheny will remain closed through Monday morning.
Transit Adjustments: Free Shuttle Service
Regular service for the PickUp and Cityline shuttles will pause during WeHo Pride Weekend. In their place, the city will operate a combined Pride Ride service Friday through Sunday. Shuttles will run along Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue to N. Kings Road between 5 p.m. and 3 a.m. nightly.
Select vehicles will extend service to the Hollywood & Highland Metro Station between 5 p.m. and midnight. Pride Ride shuttles will be clearly marked with route and destination information.
