Two New Breakfast Cafés to Open Along Santa Monica Blvd in the Rainbow District

Two new breakfast cafés are coming to Santa Monica Boulevard.

Armonie Coffee & Sandwich will open at the former Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hancock Avenue. Armonie is expected to serve as a bakery, coffee shop, and café. Word on the street suggests that the same owner is also opening a Mediterranean café in the same complex, in the former Five Guys space across from Schmitty’s.

An opening date has not been announced, but the building has been freshly painted and a new awning is already in place.

Another new coffee shop, Drip and Dolce, has leased the former Hollywood Burger space. Drip and Dolce will offer coffee and a breakfast menu.

Are these the same landlords that fought with the owners of Yogurt Stop? It got really weird with the YS owners taping up the names of the landlords up on the front windows as if to bring the customers and pedestrians into their drama. Hopefully the new coffee shop owners will have a better relationship.

I am not second guessing anyone. I will be having coffee, pastries and dining at the new places with pleasure.
