The Urbn Leaf Cannabis Dispensary located at 8477 Sunset Blvd. was robbed earlier this week. It was the 4th time that bandits broke the glass and entered the premises.
Urbn Leaf officially opened its doors in January of 2023 billed as ‘the first cannabis dispensary on the Sunset Strip’. In the approximate 30 months the business has been open to the public they have been burglarized 4 times, each time needing a new glass window and door replacement.
An employee at the location described this event as a non-starter. “They barely took anything, just a few ounces”, and the business store hours were unaffected by the robbery.
Statehouse Holdings, owner of Urbn leaf has been operating in receivership since October 2024. The company’s assets were put up for sale in a court-ordered liquidation process. Following the initiation of receivership proceedings in the U.S., StateHouse’s Canadian parent entity filed for bankruptcy in Canada in October 2024.

Yeah you’d think they’d get a metal curtain to pull down after hours at this point. While they shouldn’t have to deal with this, it is hard to feel that bad when they just put the glass back and take zero preventative measures.
You get what you vote for, WeHo. I’ve seen the WeHo masses on the Nextdoor app championing the very politicians that are destroying your city in front of your delusional eyeballs. In fact, they can post anything they want, but if you disagree, you’re permanently banned from the app. I never believed people really voted for these crooked politicians, but they do. This is the result — unsafe neighborhoods, graffiti, Block by Block instead of trained police officers, human poop on every corner, brutal assaults inside the old Rage, etc.
