Sections of the eastbound lanes of Santa Monica Boulevard between Doheny and San Vicente will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the next three days.
The closure of all three eastbound lanes is necessary so that city contractor All American Asphalt can repave the lanes. The contractor will have to grind the existing street and overlay it with new asphalt.
The city has notified businesses in the area. It also has coordinated with the MTA to temporarily relocate bus stops within the construction zone, during the night work.
Suggested alternate routes are Melrose Avenue and Beverly Boulevard.

- Tonight, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Santa Monica Boulevard between Doheny Drive and La Peer Drive.
- Wednesday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Santa Monica Boulevard between La Peer Drive and San Vicente Boulevard.
- Thursday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Santa Monica Boulevard between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard.
