West Hollywood is honoring Whoopi Goldberg with a Key to the City on July 20.
According to the The Hollywood Reporter, WeHo is bestowing the honor on Goldberg for her for contributions to the LGBTQ+ community. The Emmy/Grammy/Oscar/Tony winner will be in Los Angeles to announce the relaunch of her cannabis product lines.
The city has not yet made the plans public.
She’s iconic, sure, but her tenure on the View was insufferable. Another Mockingbird talking head, rainbow club or not.
