West Hollywood has the most innovative campaign to encourage people to throw out their trash in those magnificent big-belly, solar-powered, garbage receptacles around town. ‘Glitter don’t litter’ is the campaign.
The campaign adds ‘Local Hero Throws Garbage in Can’. And a photo of a tutti-fruti white guy tossing his apple into the bin. There is no green bin for the apples. On the other side is female identifying person of color throwing their dog poop in the air to hit the bin. Shooting baskets with dog poop.
West Hollywood, a city that is ‘tourist driven’ and boasts creative and innovative solutions to problems but can’t seem to address the dirty truth about its trash.
Some people won’t even touch the handles so they just leave their garbage on top of the bin.

They are the nastiest trash bins anywhere. I wouldn’t touch them either. So gross. There has GOT TO BE a better trash can out there.

I literally saw a homeless guy back up against a commercial building’s wall, drop his pants and take a dump against the wall..a nasty dump that ran down the wall to the ground below…in BROAD DAYLIGHT! So f’ing nasty and gross. WeHo (and CA) are becoming a third world country. When are we going to wake up to realize that the left’s crazy policies of the last two decades have gotten us here…and it’s only going to get worse. Vote differently if you want different results.
Omg! I love this writer! Any gay man who is confident enough in who they are to use the term “tutti-fruti white guy” is freaking awesome! And his article here is very on point. It’s funny, timely, and effectively addresses a real issue. I totally agree, and literally won’t touch those handles to open up those garbages either. I’m glad that he offended at least even one “tutti-fruti” WeHoan, because even the great Madonna said, if you’re doing anything as an artist, you should be provocative enough to offend at least someone, because that means you’re doing it right.

Just put bloody trash bins out……and pick up the trash. There’s a ton of “riffraff” in that area…..so there will always be trash on the ground. They aren’t capable of civil behavior.
