West Hollywood Celebrates Bike to Work Week with Morning Pop-Up for Cyclists

Join the City of West Hollywood on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for a free “pit stop” event featuring safety lights, refreshments, and info on local bike projects.

Posted: April 29, 2025, 3:47 PM As part of National Bike Month in May, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists, West Hollywood is promoting the joys and benefits of cycling—whether for commuting, leisure, cost savings, or environmental impact. To mark Bike to Work Week, the City, alongside the West Hollywood Bicycle Coalition, is hosting a cyclist-friendly pop-up on May 13 at the northeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hancock Avenue (near 8743 Santa Monica Boulevard).

Cyclists can enjoy free coffee, snacks, LED safety lights, and bike helmets to enhance their ride’s safety and comfort. City staff will be on hand to discuss upcoming bike and pedestrian safety initiatives, sustainable transport options, and answer questions. Attendees can sign up for email updates and explore the City’s mobility and streetscape projects on Engage WeHo.
