White Label Cookies West Hollywood will open right across the street from another popular WeHo cookie store, Junior’s Cookies. Junior’s opened their first location at 8703 Santa Monica Blvd in April 2022, and their second location opened this past summer on Main Street in Santa Monica.
The team behind White Label Cookies, also known as Salty Bottoms, recently shared their excitement on social media, posting “COMING SOON 👋 about their new location. Baby steps to opening day! Repapered the windows and hung our Coming Soon signs. We’re on our way, West Hollywood! 🍪”
The competition doesn’t stop there. Insomnia Cookies, the global giant with over 350 locations, has been a fixture at the Pavilions Shopping Center (8951 Santa Monica Blvd.) since 2019.
This influx of high-end cookie shops is a welcomed sign but comes at an interesting time. WEHOnline recently reported on the closure of Sprinkles Cupcakes retail locations, signaling a shift in how locals are getting their sugar fix. Cupcakes may be pulling back, but it looks like the WeHo cookie wars are just heating up.
