Winter Sounds Continues with Free Indoor Concerts at The Sun Rose

Performer Update for Saturday, February 8: Grammy-Nominated Keyon Harrold Joins the Lineup

The City of West Hollywood continues its 2025 Winter Sounds Free Indoor Concert Series on Saturday, February 8, 2025, featuring Keyon Harrold, stepping in for previously scheduled performer Chien Chien Lu, along with Danny Janklow + Elevation Band. The concert will take place at The Sun Rose at Pendry West Hollywood, located at 8430 Sunset Boulevard. Doors open at 6 p.m., and performances begin at 7 p.m. Space is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.

About the Performers

Keyon Harrold, a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, vocalist, composer, and producer, is redefining contemporary jazz. Signed to Concord Jazz, his career includes collaborations with Jay-Z, Robert Glasper, Maxwell, YEBBA, and Common. A former signee of Nas, he has toured with Cirque du Soleil and serves as Artistic Advisor for Jazz St. Louis. His latest album, Foreverland, is nominated for this year’s GRAMMY for Best Alternative Jazz Album. DownBeat Magazine hails him as “the future of the trumpet.”

Danny Janklow, an acclaimed saxophonist, seamlessly blends jazz, R&B, funk, and indie soul into a powerful musical voice. His work reflects themes of equality, justice, and love, earning him a Grammy Award in 2021 for his contribution to MONK’estra Plays John Beasley. He has also collaborated on hip-hop tracks like JID’s Hereditary and EarthGang’s Cocktails. A dynamic performer, Danny has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock, solidifying his status as an influential force in modern music.

The 2025 Winter Sounds series will conclude on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 7 p.m., featuring Theo Croker. This free indoor concert series is organized by the City of West Hollywood’s Arts Division.
