Calling all queers, allies, and anyone who’s ready to throw down.
ICYMI: West Hollywood wants your floats, your vendors, your performers, your marching contingents, and your most creative queer energy for WeHo Pride 2026, with a reminder that applications are open now – but not forever. If you’re thinking about making a splash for all the world to see then you better get to stepping. That sign up deadline line creeps up on a queen, and king, fast. Take it from this dilly-dallying DILF.
The Street Fair runs Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7 along Santa Monica Boulevard and it’s free to attend. Community groups, exhibitors, and performers can apply through the city’s portal at wehopride.com. If you’re a food or beverage vendor, that’s a separate process — reach out to vendor@dlsevents.com. Either way the deadline is April 15. Get in here.
The Parade is Sunday, June 7. Floats, bands, drill teams, dance crews, marching contingents — the City says all formats are welcome and they want people to get creative. Also April 15 at wehopride.com.
A little WeHo Pride History for you baby gays (or old queens who can’t remember), Pride events have been shaking West Hollywood since 1979, five years before the city even incorporated. And while Pride events in cities from Tampa to Manchester have struggled or folded over the past year — most of them casualties of corporate sponsors bailing in the anti-DEI climate — West Hollywood runs WeHo Pride as a city-funded municipal celebration. It doesn’t live or die by whether Anheuser-Busch sends a check. Seattle just announced headliners Keke Palmer and JT for its June festival. Manchester Pride collapsed last fall and just relaunched as a community-owned org. Pride is holding on. WeHo’s version has always been a little more built to last.
WeHo Pride Weekend runs June 5-7 at and around West Hollywood Park, 647 N. San Vicente, and includes the Street Fair, Women’s Freedom Festival, Dyke March, WeHo Pride Parade, and the ticketed OUTLOUD Music Festival plus the free Friday Night at OUTLOUD concert. The 2026 OUTLOUD lineup hasn’t been announced yet. Tickets at outloudmusicfestival.com.
Sponsors can reach out to sponsorship@jj-la.com. More details will be posted at wehopride.com as they’re available. Follow @wehopride on Instagram and Facebook and @officiallyoutloud for OUTLOUD updates.
To take a line from this season’s Ru Paul’s Drag Race: In Shady Times There Be… Drag!” And lots of it please.
