RuPaul’s All Star Drag Race crowned its newest queen on Monday, but before that crowning took place the queens had to slog their way through a grueling series of final challenges, many of which were staged in West Hollywood months ago.
At Hamburger Mary’s, the four queens were interviewed by a Gawker journalist before they were honored by West Hollywood City Councilmember John Duran.
“I declare today RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Star Day in the City of West Hollywood,” Duran said, before handing them a certificate and honorary keys to the city.
Previously, they tried their hand at, and thoroughly butchered, four stand-up comedy routines at WeHo’s The Comedy Store.

And even though this season of Drag Race is over, a little taste of it lives on at Hamburger Mary’s at Santa Monica Boulevard and North Sweetzer in the form of a new hamburger named for the queens. It includes a half-pound of free-range organic beef, a seared slice of Granny Smith apple dipped in honey, hot pepper jack cheese and pesto sauce.
