Women Helping Women (WHW) is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a “Clothesline Project Art Show” to honor Victim’s Rights Month. The Clothesline Project Art Show will feature T-shirts created by victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse, expressing their experiences. The event kicks off on April 17, 6 to 8 p.m., with an opening reception at the National Council of Jewish Women Los Angeles Council House (543 N. Fairfax Ave. at Melrose).
WHW will also hold a clothing drive to support its counseling programs and clients. The group is asking for donations to come from its “WHW Amazon Wish List.”
