Trans Pride L.A., a two-day event to celebrate the trans and gender queer community of Los Angeles, will take place Friday and Saturday. Laverne Cox, a transgender actress, producer and activist, will present a “Big Queer Convo” on Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m., followed by a reception. The Village at Ed Gould Plaza, 1125 N.
