Jennifer Armstrong discusses her book “Mary and Lou and Rhoda and Ted” at Book Soup, 8818 Sunset Blvd. and Holloway. The book is about “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” which was noteworthy for employing women as producers and writers, as well as featuring a female star who was divorced with a career. Armstrong traces the history of the show and also explores the people who made it possible.
