Next Weekend is a four-day film festival put on by the Sundance Institute and features film screenings, special events, workshops and panels. The festival kicks off with a double-bill screening of “American Movie” and “Coven,” both Sundance hits from the 1990s, at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd. and Gordon. The other three days of the festival features screenings of films from the 2013 and 2012 festivals along with “ShortLab: L.A.,” a workshop for aspiring filmmakers.
