After months of often contentious debate, the City of West Hollywood again is flying a flag atop City Hall designed to show its acceptance of LGBT people. Photographer Jon Viscott captures that as well as a new flag stationed at Sal Guariello Veterans Memorial Park on Santa Monica Boulevard at Holloway Drive.
wow, this is a biggin’
thank god this issue is settled. for those who may be offended, if there is a god, thanks to him, her, he, she, it.
@ Larry Block, too bad about the flag, but the shirt sounds good!
Perfect compromise. Should have been the city flag a long time ago!
This was the perfect solution! I have no objections to this new flag flying at City Hall or anywhere else 🙂
nice!
@90069, A few week back I called Paul Arevalo to ask if we can make a tee shirt using the flag colors but was told that it is trademarked and unavailable for use. But your right, better get to work on finding out how – so thanks. Maybe at next public comment I’ll ask everybody who wants one to raise their hand! PS the WEHO 90069 tees are here in 2 weeks!
What’s really interesting is having to fight for such a thing in West Hollywood. That’s what’s curious/bizarre. Sort of like having to fight for crosses in Vatican City.
Larry, will you sell these at your store? I want to buy one!
Thank YOU – Larry Block….
Its a beautiful sight!
