Like, who wouldn’t, like, want to hang out in, like, West Hollywood after, like, getting out of a drug rehab center?

Amanda Bynes, 28, the former child star, who has been diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenia, left the Easton Canyon Treatment Center in Pasadena last month and, according to various gossip sites, is spending all her time in, like, West Hollywood.

While she is out of rehab, Bynes might still have some work to do. In a TMZ recording posted today, she fantasizes to one of her West Hollywood roommates about, like, slitting the wrists of her mother and father. It’s a rant in which Bynes managed to, like, use the word “like,” like 36 times. And although Bynes has been released from Easton Canyon, she hasn’t been freed from the legal conservatorship granted to her parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, which grants them control over her estimated $5.7 million in assets. Bynes’ parents appeared in court in Oxnard last month and made a successful bid to retain that conservatorship.

Bynes skipped that hearing, hanging instead at Mel’s Diner on Sunset Boulevard, like, dining on “fried chicken, salmon, Caesar salad with guacamole, and a house salad with Italian and ranch,” reports TMZ, the go-to source for those with, like, a fascination with the, like, crazy celebrity.

Thursday night, TMZ reports, Bynes was out in West Hollywood again, hanging out with, like, a boy with flowers in his hair at 1Oak, the club on Sunset Boulevard best known, like, for the recent shootout that left Suge Knight, the rap impresario, with six bullet wounds. Last week she was spotted by a correspondent for the U.K.’s The Mirror standing outside of, like, Laurel Hardware restaurant on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Then a week ago Friday, she was at, like, Nine Zero One, the hair salon on Westbourne Drive, like, getting her blonde locks dyed purple. Also last week, she was, like, spotted, like, sleeping on a couch in, like, the Beverly Center, TMZ reports.

Bynes isn’t, like, finding herself, like, welcome everywhere in West Hollywood. TMZ reports that she was, like, turned away Tuesday at the Honorable Society, the tattoo parlor on Santa Monica Boulevard, when she wasn’t able to present an ID.

Her attempt to book a room recently at the London West Hollywood was, like, unsuccessful. According to TMZ, Bynes, denied a room, tossed, like, a fistful of cash in the air in the London’s, like, stylish lobby.

For Bynes, finding a place to live in WeHo is, like, impossible, because her parents don’t want her to live here. TMZ says that they are paying for her to stay in a Glendale hotel and refuse to let move to WeHo for fear she’ll get into trouble here. Bynes, like, doesn’t want to, like, live in Glendale, preferring to, like, crash with friends in WeHo.

Even that is become problematic according to TMZ. The mother of one of the three girls Bynes has been, like, crashing with in, like, West Hollywood has demanded Bynes’ parents pay $1,500 to cover the cost of, like, damages such as, like, cigarette burns on the carpet and, like, blue hair dye stains.

While she may not, like, find a place to, like, live in WeHo, Bynes actually might, like, be close to, like, landing a job here. TMZ reports that Chad Weiner, managing partner of State Social House, says he is, like, willing to, like, offer her a job, like, tending bar.

And Bynes parents are, like, considering putting some distance between themselves and the daughter who fanaticizes about slitting their wrists by making a move to, like, Texas, and handing over the conservatorship to, like, a mental health professional.

Like lighten up. Like not everything has to be so serious – like all the time. It’s clear, if you’ve been like following this story closely like some of us, that she is like a 28 year old woman who is often like well enough and clear minded enough to like make her own like bad choices, including — like not to get help. But she is also like in the public domaine and as such is like game for like snarky press. And WeHoville along with many other like media outlets isn’t like responsible for being the guardian of… Read more »

It’s sad and disgusting of the writer of this insensitive piece to hide behind STAFF. Mocking the mentally ill is not a joke. I expect more for Wehoville.

Agree with Steve and Sam. This article is an embarrassment to wehoville. Mental illness is not a laughing matter. And what’s more, whoever wrote this is unoriginal, unfunny, and mean.

Mental illness isn’t, like, funny. This column is deplorable. Would you ever write this about the other mentally ill homeless wandering our streets here? What were you thinking?

Whoever wrote this article has a really poor sense of humor, thinking it’s funny to overuse the word “like”, trying to mock Amanda’s little rant. The girl is obviously dealing with a serious mental illness, most likely doesn’t understand the magnitude of what she’s saying, and it’s no wonder she can’t get any better, being the target of the media, disrespectful people who think it’s funny to put her every move and every word on blast for their own entertainment. I didn’t find this funny at all. I couldn’t even finish reading it because I was so irritated at the… Read more »
