Homicide Detectives Investigating Apparent Murder on Holloway Drive

Crime sceneLos Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are investigating an apparent murder in the 8500 block of Holloway Drive in West Hollywood this afternoon.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Department, a woman was found dead as an apparent result of blunt force trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect, a Caucasian man, has been apprehended.

As of publication the Homicide Bureau is continuing its investigation and no additional information about the incident is yet available. Desertbob – WeHo is increasingly one of the most desired locations in the LA area, with real estate prices and rentals soaring. You are entitled to your own opinions of course, but not your own facts. The city is doing great, likely better with you not here.

@Chris Sanger Well, WeHo is done, over with, finis. I lived there from 1978 to ’81, in the “golden era” before the bomb hit; part of my family have lived there from the 1920s (Huntley Dr. north of Melrose). The whole area is in rapid decline, crime rates are soaring, the clueless city council spends money with “gay abandon,” “She ain’t what the used to be,” that for damned sure. Something is happening and/or changing along the boulevard. I have had countless iPhones stolen out of the Abbey. Its definitely not like it was five or ten years ago. Lot’s of business’ located in other Cities are struggling, with the Cost of Living and lack of Jobs I don’t see things getting any better.

This was apparently domestic violence. Husband seems to have killed wife. They lived in a nice apt bldg. Mother of the woman reported her missing, then checked the apt. Tragic, but from what we know has nothing to do with public safety or any sign of some sort of danger in WeHo. This was a straight couple DesertBob – should we be afraid of straight communities?
