SAN DIEGO — Front Runners & Walkers San Diego’s annual Pride 5k Run and Walk will be held on Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The 5k race and walk is held along the Pride parade route through Hillcrest and Balboa Park, a course sanctioned and certified by USA Track & Field.
Last year’s race and walk raised $12,000 for the San Diego Center’s Youth Housing Project and San Diego Pride Community Grants. It attracted 925 participants. The Youth Housing Project provides LGBT teenagers a place to live and assists them in getting an education and developing skills.
