Vehicle burglaries were on the rise in West Hollywood last week, with 21 reported to the local Sheriff’s Station. Vehicle break-ins have been a major issue in West Hollywood and adjacent cities and neighborhoods for some time.  However, the city saw a decline after the arrest in November 2017 of two men from Oakland.

““Both of suspects were from what we believe to be a known criminal street gang, part of an organized crew that has been committing crimes in the West Hollywood area for many months now,” said then-Capt. Sergio Aloma.

What follows is a list of all Part I (serious) crimes reported in West Hollywood last week, with case numbers included.
