Today the Lytton Savings Bank was decapitated. It’s lovely folded roof did not apparently meet the sensibilities of an/or opportunity for Frank Geary to take inspiration from and incorporate into his rather overdone project at 8150Sunset Blvd and after all HE was providing the Gateway to West Hollywood which WeHo never asked for or enter into the conversation with the Townscape folks. This landmark building for which Steven Luffman and Keith Nakata endlessly advocated has become dust. 11th hour decisions are always lurking to dispossess structures believed by the Architectural and Design community as well as the public to be… Read more »

I’ve seen this before. Interesting to see the 9000 building under construction. Sad to say that the B of A in this video is closing down August 2021. Now, I gotta go all the way to SMB. 🙁
