WeHo Bistro named among Top 100 Best Brunches in America

Pride month may be over, but WeHo Bistro still has plenty to celebrate.

OpenTable, the world’s leading online restaurant reservations system, released its annual list of Top 100 Best Brunches in America, and the local favorite came in at 96th place — proving that after a year of COVID lockdown and doing business under ever-changing restrictions, this staple of West Hollywood eateries is back and better than ever.

Like many local restaurants, WeHo Bistro weathered the storm of the pandemic with the help of its hard-working staff, its loyal customers, and perhaps most of all, its patio.

The outdoor dining area looking out onto Holloway Blvd.* and La Cienega was a bastion for cooped-up residents desperate to get out into the world again.

Now, of course, restaurant-goers can enjoy their meals indoors as well as outdoors.

WeHo Bistro offers a delectable menu of classic diner dishes, and an especially enticing brunch selection.

Start your weekend off right with Wicked Bloody Mary featuring Chopin Potato Vodka and surprises like fresh shrimp and crispy bacon.

Try the Bistro Salmon Benedict and order it with the waffle for a salty/sweet pairing that’s perfect for a Sunday afternoon.

WeHo Bistro is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily (11 a.m. on weekends). Parking is free. For reservations, call 310-657-9696.

I enjoy this restaurant but the article reads like a paid advertisement. I don’t think it deserves this kind of coverage. Maybe just an honorable mention in a story on the overall dining scene in WEHO. More interesting dining news might include new restaurants opening in the area, the status of longtime neighborhood classics post COVID like Basix and Marix, and any area closings etc.

And voted one of the 100 worst places to work if you have an opinion that differs from your boss. He’ll harass you and make your work place unbearable until you quit. (Allegedly)

Very well deserved. I love Weho Bistro!!!
As for the the MAGA idiot looking to make a buck… he’s a disgusting opportunist who I’m sure had his hand out when the surviving owner handed out restaurant shares to the employees, making them owners when one of the original owners passed away.

Wehoville- You should not let this comment go unchallenged. He is shaming a victim of bullying.

This appears rather sketchy on several levels. The survey conducted by Open Table from March 2020 to April 2021 and the strange timing after the dustup on Wehoville. Avoid all the controversy and invite brunch guests to your home.

This is written like an ad for the place versus telling readers how the top 100 restaurants are chosen by Yelp. Also, it does not look out onto SMB, but rather La Cienega and Holloway.

Hi, thanks for the note and the article has been updated. The top 100 are selected by OpenTable. And is a ranking. WEHOville does not have any information on their selection process.

The information is available:

https://press.opentable.com/news-releases/news-release-details/just-time-mothers-day-opentable-reveals-its-2021-list-100-best

The list was published May 3 and “was culled from more than 12 million verified diner reviews of over 30,000 restaurants.”

And what is on La Cienega and Holloway? A 7-11 and a gas station, not so charming.

What about the owner bullying the employees?

I see you are proud of dehumanizing a person because of their vote. That’s really sick, man.

The person they are voting for DEHUMANIZES the LGBTQ+ community. And appoints people to lifetime positions that do the same.

THAT is sick.
