New shared workspace center will replace the former WeWork in WeHo

The former WeWork location will now become Spaces West Hollywood.

WeWork, the shared workspace startup that tanked in spectacular fashion, terminated its lease at 925 N. La Brea between Melrose and Santa Monica last year. Spaces will feature 31,000 square feet of coworking leases, down from WeWork’s 48,000 square feet.

Spaces West Hollywood will feature 160 private offices and coworking spaces, a dozen meeting rooms and 10 phone booths. It’s currently $430 per person for a full month of office space and $254 per person for coworking membership on the Spaces website marketing available room.

Was wework, female only? Did they not accept transwomen? Are they being sued for discrimination anywhere?

Wow from their website I see being the the heart 💖 of West Hollywood, on-site parking even for your bike, meeting rooms available by appointment, staff support, internet access and, your own work space ❗ Just like WeWork it’s everything I can get for FREE right across the street at the West Hollywood Library and, there are movies and public events that “Spaces” just doesn’t have.

Don’t encourage corporate people to use the library. Keep it the library, even though it’s not the library of my youth, which was a place of discovery, and not a glorified homeless shelter. Working people would never tell clients their office is the library anyway, that would sound tragic.

An excellent idea, not only should we encourage corporate people to use the public library, we should mandate it with corporate board meetings open to public access with their opinions counting (including our unhoused neighbors) in corporate policy making. This would guarantee public library funding as well enabling 24 hour operation and access as it would be necessary for corporate operation. A-lot has changed from the time of your youth that may make you uncomfortable like, ending Jim Crow Laws, Women & Non-whites Voting and, Social Justice but, welcome to the 21st century❗

But we ban people from defecating 💩 in public especially where we eat. So are these some oppressive government mandates keeping Americans from freedom of defecation ❓ NO, a possible hepatitis A exposure right here in West Hollywood shows these Public Health measures to be quite reasonable. Likewise with over 1,019,774 U.S. COVID-19 DEATHS many of which could easily been prevented with VACCINATION 💉 and nonpharmaceutical disease containment, these policies are easily justified❗
