Woman shot dead in WeHo

A woman was shot and killed in West Hollywood Thursday evening.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded about 7:30 p.m. to an apartment complex located in the 7300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, near Plummer Park, on reports of the shooting and found the woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound at the scene, according to the Deputy Miguel Meza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died of her wounds. Her name was withheld pending notification of her next of kin.

An investigation into the shooting was ongoing and anyone with information was asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. This is terrible but this did not happen in West Hollywood it happened in Los Angeles (check the address). Since I’m sure wehoville knows what the boundaries of West Hollywood are I notice you fold in crime from LA to make our community West Hollywood looks bad.

The location of this shooting was The Avalon apartment building located at 7316 Santa Monica Blvd. That is in West Hollywood, not LA.

Correction I meant to say the gun bleeding shootout accomplice was found sneaking in a property on Sweetzer and Fountain.

This is the Avalon which is located on Santa Monica north of Romaine. It is within the city limits. The developers built it because it was in City of West Hollywood in the first place. The shooting happened in Weho. People just have to acknowledge and reconcile the fact that West Hollywood is becoming more violent and dangerous and more shootings are happening every year! This is becoming more prevalent in West Hollywood. So is the break-in last night at Optique. While the head sheriff is spending time billing the city for false/non-maned hours and spending time on television defending non-vaxer deputies, he should be concentrating on the ramped up crime in West Hollywood. Sheriff DO SOMETHING.

They can’t defend us because their job is to investigate. You have to defend you. Also, dollars to donuts you supported defunding them and they were overworked in a HUGE way due to…riots, the Rona, and other nonsense,
