West Hollywood’s first Pet Mayor, Chloe Shyne, was sworn in just a couple of weeks ago, but she’s already putting her clout to use reaching out to potential donors for her mom’s congressional campaign.
Chloe penned an e-mail Thursday to supporters of her mother, WeHo Human Mayor Sepi Shyne, in which she lays on the charm to fetch cash for the campaign coffers.
“I take my (ahem) duties as new Pet Mayor seriously,” Chloe wrote. “But, as much as I looooove posing for cameras and taking care of my important repawnsibilities, I need to take a moment to tell you all about mom. As Pet Mayor, it’s important to give credit to everyone who got me here, and that’s especially my mom, or as you hooomans call her, Sepi.
“She’s not only the bestest treat-giver and belly scratcher, she’s out there looking out furr all of us, hooomans and puppers alike. She knows what it’s like to have a ruff go of it, and will always have your back. Like when she raised the minimum wage to the highest in the nation here in WEHO (I’m working to follow her lead and raise the minimum wag for my doggo constituents too….) AND that’s not all she even created the very first Pet Week to celebrate me and all my friends!!
“While I may be new to all this paw-litics business, one thing I know is that allll hooomans (and their four-legged friends) deserve to be treat-ed with dignity and respect. And that’s why my mom should win.
“She really is the ulti-mutt champion for the values of working hooomans. She will fight hard fur everybody, workers, renters, immigrants, and puppers alike.”
Chloe clearly internalized the advice (and pun-manship) of WEHOville’s recent congratulations letter, though some in the community are probably wondering whether Sepi Shyne elevating her daughter to an official position of power for use as a novel fund-raising gimmick was really an appropriate expenditure of taxpayer dollars and city staff man-hours.
Shyne used her charismatic daughter to great effect in her campaign for WeHo City Council in 2020, and the mayor looks ready to re-use the winning recipe as she seeks to follow retiring Rep. Adam Schiff into Capitol Hill .

At this point, all the “bitch jokes” just write themselves. Let’s just cut to the chase: there needs to be a recall to get SEPTIC Shyne out of office. Enough is enough. West Hollywood needs to have a Gynecologist Mayor and his/her Pet C—- in Shyne. That should be next.

Received this by email earlier in the day via Sepi Shyne’s email whose recipients appear to have been inherited from Lindsey Horvath’s list. Not that I ever subscribed to the list, did not cancel as it’s good to keep an eye on what they are/were up to. Both individuals are unusually immature using their lap dogs as foils rather than demonstrating mature, conscious effort and character. They treat public service as some type of victim gaming. So the mayor spends tax payer money on a city sponsored dog eventful in West Hollywood Park where she has her dog “sworn-in” as dog mayor and then immediately has this “city sponsored pooch” ask for money for Shyne’s Congressional campaign. Of course she does. There is something wrong with thing whole thing. I’d like to see the monthly expenses of Mayor Shyne and the mayor dog.

Hooomans & puppers? I’ve never heard a dog talk quite like this. My dog Zipper has perfect diction & pronunciation when speaking English & spells every word correctly to the letter. This article is patently ridiculous & it should be an embarrassment to this publication & an insult to its readers. If this nonsense is ominous of what’s coming for the next year-and-one-half or so, count me & Zipper out.
How are Sepi’s handlers treating her, if she treats her dog like this? Funny how pets start to resemble their owners, isn’t it?
