Varsity Gay League has kicked off its winter tennis season at Poinsettia Park, on the southern border of West Hollywood bounded by Romaine Street, Willoughby Avenue, Martel Street and Poinsettia Place. While doubles play already is underway, VGL plans to launch its first ever singles league this month.

It is a shame that the Varsity Gay League can’t play their matches at Plummer Park which is a much nicer facility, now that it is a private enterprise we have to have all courts available for lessons so the new contractor can make a lot of money
