West Hollywood residents will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday with 13 gatherings around the city. The National Night Out events are part of an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The 13 events and their hosts, times and location are as follows:
West Hollywood Recreation Services Division. Movie night in the park. 8 p.m. Plummer Park lawn by the tennis courts.
West Hollywood Gateway. Live music, balloon art, face painting. 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Gateway’s courtyard plaza.
Russian Advisory Board. A block party. 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fuller Street entrance to Plummer Park.
Fountain Day School. A block party. 5 to 8 p.m., 1128 N. Orange Grove Ave.
Center City Alliance. A block party. 6 p.m., Norton Avenue between Laurel and Hayworth.
Flores/De Longpre Neighborhood Watch. A block party. 6:30 p.m., Hart Park, 8431 De Longpre Ave.
Kings Road Tenant Association. A block party. 5:30 p.m., patio and day room at 801 N. Kings Rd.
Tri-West Area Neighborhood Association. Block party/potluck dinner. 6 p.m., corner of Westmount and Sherwood.
West Hollywood West Residents Association. Block party. 6:30 p.m., Shelbourne cul-de-sac at Ashcroft and Sherbourne.
Norma Triangle. Block party/potluck dinner. 7 p.m., Lloyd Place between Elevado and Norma.
