Anna Duggar isn’t the only person made miserable by the revelation that her husband, reality TV star Josh Duggar, has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Popular West Hollywood DJ and bartender Matthew McCarthy also is suffering because of the conservative Christian’s infidelity.

It was McCarthy’s photo, which the Daily Mail says Duggar found in a random web search, that Duggar used on OKCupid, the dating website. Duggar also had a profile on Ashley Madison, the website for admitted cheaters, that made news recently after hackers got access to the names of its members.

McCarthy, who has worked at Micky’s and the former Eleven and also is known as DJ MVRK, told TMZ he is considering taking legal action against Duggar, having lost DJ gigs because of the scandal.

As one of 19 children of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Josh Duggar was featured on “19 Kids and Counting,” the TLC reality TV show that launched in 2007 (and then was known as “17 Kids and Counting’). The show portrayed an Independent Baptist family in Arkansas that lived according to conservative Christian beliefs. But it was canceled by TLC in May after Josh, the oldest son, publicly apologized for molesting five girls, including some of his sisters. That admission was followed by the revelation on Aug. 20 that Duggar had profiles on OKCupid and Ashley Madison. He used McCarthy’s profile on the OKCupid site.

The world is all open these days …. pictures are everywhere ….. pictures of my dog (I don’t post them) pop up all over the internet (i can see why the nude pic of celebs happened). Clouds and Social Networks spread everything, and this guy shouldn’t lose ‘gigs’.

But does a person really want to work for someone trying to protect a predatory child molester?

Having Principles is something we should try again.

Whether Mathew lost gigs or not, that’s not the point at all. His picture was used, for a pig to lure women to fulfill his sexual desires. That alone, I believe Mathew should be financially compensated by Josh Duggar. Josh had the money to pay for his Ashley Madison accounts and pay $2500 to the stripper. And that’s all we know about, who knows how much Josh Duggan paid out for his sexual desires. I hope Mathew seeks financial compensation from Josh, as goes for as much as he can get. I would!!!.. josh violated Mathew, and Josh needs serious… Read more »

Haha, people use other peoples pictures on the internet everyday, welcome to the real world. I love how everyone wants to sue for anything these days. Mathew was not violated at all. Do I think it is ok Josh used his picture? No, but this is certainly not lawsuit worthy.

The fact people use others peoples pictures of websites without their knowledge, does not make it right. I’m from Canada, lawsuits are far far less common here than the U.S. As a female, if I found someone was using my picture on a dating site, or a cheat on your spouse with me site, the skies the limit as to where they could plaster my face, I’m not saying its law suit worthy, but it is worthy of some sort of punishment, to the party who used the picture without the other parties knowledge. Anyway, Josh Duggan..its a creepy, wimpy,… Read more »

He lost gigs because of this? Why ever would that happen?
